Aberfeldy 25 Years Old 125th Anniversary is a special edition from Aberfeldy, released to celebrate the distillery’s 125th anniversary. The single malt matured for over two decades in a combination of refill hogsheads and refill butts. It was then expertly finished for over a year in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks, augmenting Aberfeldy’s rich and fruity character with a delightful spiced note. Aberfeldy 25 Years Old 125th Anniversary is luxuriously succulent with notes of Highland honey, wild strawberries and ripe peaches warmed by the sun. The aroma builds with cocoa powder, creamy caramel and warming cinnamon. On the palate, delicate fruit rests on a malty, cereal base, with a hint of vanilla coffee and a long satisfying finish.
