Aberfeldy 21 Years Old is the flagship expression from the Aberfeldy distillery. The single malt was launched in October 2005 and has gone on to win numerous awards, including a gold medal at the 2022 International Wine & Spirit Competition. The whisky matured for 21 years in a combination of rich sherry casks and vanilla-laden bourbon casks, before being bottled at 40% ABV. Aberfeldy 21 Years Old is a mellow and honeyed dram, with a beautifully balanced nose of coconut, heather honey, marmalade, almonds, lime juice and a wisp of peat smoke. The palate is smooth and complex with notes of toasted coconut, fudge, vanilla, macadamia nuts, rich dried fruits and cinnamon. On the finish you’ll find silky oak, chewy beeswax and a trace of smoke.
