Bushmills 21 Years Old 2006 is a rare single malt Irish whiskey from Bushmills, Ireland’s oldest whiskey distillery. Casks from Spain, Portugal and America have given the whiskey its enjoyably rich, mellow yet distinct flavour. Bushmills 21 Years Old 2006 matured for at least 19 years in Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, followed by a final two years of maturation in Madeira casks. This unique combination of woods brings rich and deep flavours to the whiskey. It is full and sweet on the nose, with aromas of soft spice and orange peel. The palate has a smooth texture with flavours of dried fruits, spicy malt and toasted raisins, ending on an intense finish of liquorice and oak.
