The Blacks Brewery & Distillery in the Irish port town of Kinsale was founded in 2013 by Sam and Maudeline Black. Blacks is the first co-located micro brewery and distillery in Ireland. This gives them the opportunity to age their beers in spirit barrels and vice versa, creating a wider range of flavours. The 8-year-old Blacks Rocketship Irish Whiskey has been finished in casks that previously held the brewery’s Rocketship IPA for a wonderful zesty kick of Galaxy hops. A single malt that is truly out of this world!
