Chichibu 7 Years Old LMDW New Vibrations 2015 Cask #4701 is a heavily peated single malt from the Chichibu distillery in Japan, released specially for La Maison du Whisky’s 2023 collection New Vibrations. The single malt was distilled in 2015 and matured for 7 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel. It was bottled in 2023 at 63.3%. The Chichibu distillery was founded in 2007 by Ichiro Akuto, and started production the year after. Being the first new Japanese distillery since 1973, Chichibu started a new chapter in Japan’s whisky history. One of 192 bottles.
