For La Maison du Whisky’s 2022 Collection Antipodes, four unique single casks of Chichibu whisky have been selected to explore the many sides of the distillery’s spirit. These different facets are reflected in the labels, which feature colourful abstract self-portraits by the prolific Japanese artist Aki Kuroda. Chichibu 6 Years Old LMDW Antipodes 2015 Cask #4660 is a heavily peated single malt, aged for 6 years in a second-fill bourbon barrel before being bottled at a hefty 63.9%. It brings a powerful earthy peat and deep medicinal, maritime and malty layers, together with fruity, herbal, floral and honeyed hints. One of 215 bottles.
