Akkeshi is one of the young guns on the whisky scene, having only started their distilling operations in 2016. But boy are they making their mark, even earning themselves the nickname “Little Lagavulin” due to the similarities with their older Scottish cousin. The Seimei single malt is the 5th release in what will be a 24 season series, bottled at a hefty 55% ABV in 2022.
