Baker’s is a small batch bourbon from Jim Beam. The expression was introduced in 1992 as part of the Small Batch Collection, together with Booker’s, Basil Hayden and Knob Creek. The bourbon is named after Baker Beam–grand-nephew of the legendary Jim Beam, and former Jim Beam distiller. Baker’s was always the underdog in the Small Batch Collection, but it has been gaining in popularity since it was rebranded as a single barrel bourbon in the fall of 2019. Baker’s 7 Years Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon is a bottle of good old small batch Baker’s. It aged for 7 years and is bottled at an accessible 107 proof.
