Ancient Age Bourbon was introduced in 1946 by Schenley at the George T. Stagg distillery (today’s Buffalo Trace). The brand is currently in the hands of Age International, which is part of the Japanese company Takara Shuzo Co. Ancient Ancient Age 8 Years Old is a rare release that was produced exclusively for the Japanese market. The discontinued expression matured for 8 years and is bottled at 86 proof.
