I am so pleased that I chose to try the whole-berry sea buckthorn powder from Arctic Flavors. The quality and purity of the product are obvious, as is the lack of over-processing which is sometimes a drawback of powdered fruit from other companies. With Arctic Flavors’ product, you also know you are getting the goodness of the whole of the fruit, rather than just the seed, or oil, or skins. I am very pleased with the effects of taking the fruit powder in my morning smoothie. My skin looks healthier and has a positive bloom to it, and much of my dry skin issue that prompted me to try the Sea buckthorn powder for its vitamin c content to see if this would help alleviate it has all but disappeared. The taste of the powder is tart, but wholesome, and for me adds a pleasant depth to ordinary fruit juice that might otherwise be a little too sweet or bland. I will be re-ordering.
