From the outset, Polugar N°4 sets the tone. Its defining features are honeyed and spicy, plain and simple! Of course, here and there, hints of herbs, fruits, and even flowers may try to make their presence known. But truthfully, what stands out the most is the complete absence, both on the nose and palate, of any trace of rye. If this was Mr. Rodionov’s intent, the result fully lives up to the expectations.
