CAMBUS 31 ans First Ghost Macbeth Act One Elixir Distillers

Distilled in the Lowlands at the Cambus distillery, this single grain has aged for over 31 years in ex-bourbon casks. Three decades allow it to express complex notes of vanilla, coconut, and lime. A truly indulgent and comforting single grain, although its ghostly profile may surprise you. To represent the Ghosts from the tragedy Macbeth, it was obvious for Elixir Distillers to offer a selection of now closed and silent distilleries. This Cambus is the first of the 6 Ghosts to make its appearance. Livingstone and Elixir Distillers present the first act of the Macbeth range, a true homage to the play written by William Shakespeare in 1606. This first act includes nine elixirs that will allow us to patiently wait for the four subsequent acts, for a total of 42 whiskies. Each Scotch whisky in this series is based on the profiles of Macbeth‘s characters, with tasting notes written by Dave Broom and labels illustrated by the legendary Sir Quentin Blake.
